The Wildwoods’ free beaches, named ‘Best Beaches in New Jersey’ by USAToday, offer plenty of room for a variety of summertime activities — everything from surfing to boogie-boarding to body surfing to tossing a Frisbee or playing Beach Volleyball to reading in the shade. There’s even dog beaches for your furry friends! The best part is they’re absolutely FREE for you to enjoy with no beach tags required. The Wildwoods’ Boardwalk offers 38 blocks of fun with over 100 rides and attractions.

Throughout the season, this five-mile stretch of powdery-white sand also hosts a number of events, including championship soccer, lacrosse and hockey tournaments, the National Marbles Championships, Monster Truck Races, Motocross Races, Sand Sculpting Festivals, headline concerts, the Wildwoods International Kite Festival and so much more. Jurassic Adventure Mini Golf

A mini golf sight for those that like the game, the theme of this mini golf course is dinosaurs! A great game for kids that understand the game, they can walk around different dinosaurs and enjoy the creativity of the little area. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours when the weather cooperates.

For many visitors its a tradition that they have to stop at Jurassic Adventure Golf at least once a summer. We used to live in the area and since moving away, we always come back for family. So Jurassic golf is a must.

It’s a simple little course that’s fun. The holes aren’t incredibly challenging which I think makes it great for the kids. We don’t have any kids but there’s almost always a couple families there when we’re there. Staff is friendly. Some free parking but it’s free to part on the street there so you shouldn’t have a problem parking.

A fun, family-friendly and prehistoric mini golf course located in North Wildwood. Open 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily in the summer season.

Seaport Aquarium

A great stop on the Wildwood boardwalk for families with kids; though it’s enjoyable for all ages. Step out of the crowds for a while and enjoy the slow pace of the fish! Feed the turtles and fish; pet a shark and a stingray on your visit! It’s very clean and the animals are well cared for. They have a knowledgeable and friendly staff to show you around and inform you about the fish you are seeing and touching.

This is just a little aquarium on the boardwalk that visitors can go into for a small fee. They have a lot of reptiles and some birds, the occasional monkey, and some cool looking fish. It doesn’t take a whole lot of time to go through the aquarium, but kids will really like seeing all of the different animals. Customers can also feed some of the animals if they want to. Beside each animal is a little blurb about the creature that is in the tank or the cage, and it’s fascinating to learn about all those different creatures. This is a great way to get out of the sun for a little while.
