Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., watch a festive line-up of floats, fire trucks and other creatively decorated vehicles parade down the streets of the Wildwoods accompanied by Santa himself! Revised parade route to be announced. Following the parade, a tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the all-NEW Byrne Plaza located at Oak and Pacific Avenues in Wildwood. {If weather is uncertain, listen to 98.7 The Coast – rain date for the parade is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m.} For more details call 609.729.5501

Wildwood Pinch the GrYnch’ Boardwalk 5K Run

‘Pinch the GrYnch’ Boardwalk 5K Run

This holiday boardwalk 5K run and 1 mile walk is fun for all ages! Event starts at 10 a.m. – rain or shine – with registration at 9 a.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Participants are encouraged to dress in festive holiday outfits. The race route will run south on the Wildwoods Boardwalk to Cresse Avenue, make a turn around and head north to 21st Street. Another turn will lead runners back to the Convention Center where refreshments will be served and prizes awarded. Runners and walkers along with their cheering sections can then enjoy the Holiday Bazaar held inside the Convention Center. Registration is $30 per person or $15 if you donate a new, unwrapped toy for local children in need. North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party

The 10th Annual family fun event! Vehicle check-in; 5 p.m. Event time is 5:30 – 7 p.m. along Olde NJ Avenue between 2nd & Walnut Avenues in North Wildwood. Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the vehicles with the best decorations. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood. Parking for visitors will be available in the municipal lot at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues. 609.522.2955
